We make our milk from whole, organic, American soybeans. We’re far from the first to make delicious foods from soybeans. Humans turned to soybeans for powerful nutrition, environmental harmony, and culinary creation for thousands of years, dating back to ancient Asian civilizations. That’s because soybeans have some magical qualities:
1. Soybeans are unparalleled on plant proteins. They’re the only plants that are high in fully digestible protein (PDCAAS = 1.0) and contain all 9 essential amino acids. This gives us a plant milk that naturally has the most protein per calorie. Plus, they’re full of fiber and micronutrients.
2. When it comes to the planet, soybeans are givers not takers. They use ~90% less land, water, and pollution than a cow would use to produce an equivalent amount of dairy milk. Not only that, but they naturally enrich the soil with nitrogen, an nutrient essential for all life, reducing the need for added fertilizers on that land.
